All You Can Eat Art

7 Apr
Last night we went to the opening of THE LASER SUMMIT OF CHEAP GRAPHICS EXHIBITION.
It is a great exhibition concept whereby  80 designers, illustrators and comic book artists, from Berlin and the Balkans, exhibit 80 Art works. Not only that, but these pieces are printed continuously  and sold for just 1,- Euro throughout the exhibition.

“Our aim is to establish and publicly promote young designers and graphic design in general, as well as all the related media. In the four we held exhibitions so far, we presented more than 300 works of art of both well-known designers and new hopes in graphic design. This exhibition aims to establish a new concept in communication between the artists and their audience: “Widely Accessible and Cheap Artwork for All”. All the works of art are reproduced on the A4 office paper, using only standard LaserJet printers.” Quote by The Laser Summit of Cheap Graphics

At the opening which started at 7pm many people gathered while various Dj’s put on a set and the Art Feast began!!
The exhibition runs from the 6th-8th of April 2012 at the Neurotitan Galerie, Rosenthaler Strasse 39 im Haus Schwarzenberg.
This is a great way to adorn your walls with some original art for a bargain. We ended up buying about 10 pieces for only 10,- Euro and left with big smiles on our faces.

Great idea! Could be the beginning of an art collection?
